cosy in the spring
March 24, 2017I know you might be thinking why on earth would you knit a cosy for a Cadbury Egg- well I guess I would say why not? You know you have little scraps of yarn needing to be used and this is the perfect little project to make them into a cute little disguise for your Cadbury Eggs this spring! Of course now my fellas know when they see these little eggs a sweet treat is inside!
Always good knitting in the round practice and it can be done in about an hour, just right to sneak in between larger knitting projects this spring. You can find the pattern here- let me know if you find any mistakes.
I have to confess that I bought this yarn before I was a knitter and did not keep the label- ughh. I do remember that is a Malabrigo yarn and 90% sure it is the Rastita in Arco Iris colorway.
If you don't feel like knitting one up and want to wrap up a Cadbury Egg in some wooly goodness I am giving one away that will come to you with a vintage Easter postcard- I will let you add the Cadbury! Just leave a comment here! I will draw a winner on April 1- no foolin!
